After serving as an LDS missionary and completing his Business Management degree at Montana State University-Billings, Mike delved into the world of paints with The Sherwin-Williams Paint Company. For seven years, he managed stores in Montana and Utah, becoming a trusted resource in paint intricacies and application techniques. His passion for teaching extended to professionals and homeowners alike, ensuring the best finishes.

In 2018, Mike, along with his family, moved to Utah, where he continued his success with Sherwin-Williams. Driven by his childhood dream of entrepreneurship, Mike founded Beartooth Built in 2022.
